Turkey’s tourism industry is entering the 2026 holiday season with dozens of major hotel rebrandings, renovations and concept changes across the country’s most popular resort destinations.
From Antalya and Bodrum to Kusadasi and Izmir, many well-known hotels have changed names, joined new international networks or repositioned themselves into higher market segments.
Tourists Advised To Check Updated Hotel Names
Travel experts warn that returning visitors may struggle to locate familiar hotels under their previous names, as many properties now operate under entirely new brands.
In some cases, the changes go far beyond rebranding, with hotels shifting concepts, upgrading facilities or moving into adults-only or premium lifestyle categories.
Mardan Palace Joins Swandor Hotels Portfolio
One of the biggest developments of the season is the transfer of the iconic Mardan Palace 5* to the management of Swandor Hotels & Resorts.
While the property has retained its palace-style architecture, new service upgrades have already been introduced, with a larger renovation planned for winter 2026–2027.
Major Renovations Across Antalya Region
Corendon Hydros Club 5* in Kemer, formerly known as Aqi Hydros Club, reopened after extensive renovation works affecting guest rooms, restaurants, lobby areas, beach facilities and the children’s club.
The hotel is now positioning itself as an active premium family resort with a club-style atmosphere.
Another major relaunch in Tekirova is Rai Foresta Tekirova 5*, previously operating as Club Saphire.
Meanwhile, several former Alva Donna hotels in Belek, Kemer and Side have transitioned to the Dobedan Hotels brand as part of a broader move toward higher comfort standards.
Adults-Only And Premium Concepts Expanding
One of the most significant concept transformations is Adalya Bliss Adults Only 16+, previously Adalya Resort & Spa.
After renovation, the hotel abandoned its family-oriented model in favour of an adults-only premium wellness and lifestyle concept focused on spa rituals, relaxation and evening entertainment.
The change reflects growing demand in Turkey for adult-focused luxury resort experiences.
New Openings And Resort Upgrades Continue
In Lara, the former Venezia Palace is reopening as Ducale Lara 5* with new facilities including a heated waterpark, indoor Olympic pool and access to professional football training fields.
In Kusadasi, Asteria Ephesus Kusadasi 5* has reopened with updated service concepts targeting family tourism, including vegetarian menus, children’s entertainment zones and honeymoon packages.
In Bodrum and Didim, hotels previously operating under the Prive brand now continue under the Agaya brand identity.
Several Hotels Introduce New Luxury Positioning
Industry representatives say many rebrandings are linked to broader repositioning strategies aimed at moving hotels into more upscale categories.
Kirman Hotels, for example, has launched a new Kirman Premium concept promising personalised services and dozens of tailored guest experiences.
In Izmir, Hyatt Regency İzmir İstinyePark has officially become Grand Hyatt İzmir İstinyePark, reflecting a transition toward the ultra-luxury market segment.
The property has introduced redesigned lobby spaces and a new fine dining restaurant named FARO7.
New Family Resorts Also Enter The Market
Several newly updated family resorts are also attracting attention ahead of summer 2026.
Green Nature Sarigerme 5* on the Aegean coast offers a 24-hour ultra all-inclusive concept and a waterpark with 16 slides.
Sentido Serra Resort 5*, formerly Serra Garden, is scheduled to open in June 2026 with botanical gardens, an aquapark and multiple à la carte restaurants aimed at family travellers.
The wave of renovations and repositioning reflects Turkey’s broader tourism strategy to modernise resort infrastructure while attracting higher-spending international travellers without significantly increasing prices.
