AMC Aviation Adds Learjet 60XR to VIP Fleet in Modlin

AMC Aviation has added another Learjet 60XR to its fleet after taking delivery of aircraft SP-AMG and entering it into its AOC certificate. The Polish private aviation operator said the business jet is based at Modlin Airport.

The aircraft was built in 2008 and carries manufacturer serial number MSN 60-349. According to available information, it previously flew with two private owners in Canada before AMC Aviation prepared it for passenger operations.

AMC Aviation said the arrival of SP-AMG strengthens a fleet that already includes three other Learjet 60XR aircraft, alongside a range of other business jets and turboprops. The company has provided VIP aviation services for more than 20 years.

In a post on LinkedIn, AMC Aviation said: “Z ogromna radoscia witamy nowego czlonka naszej lotniczej rodziny. Do floty dolaczyl wlasnie kolejny Learjet 60XR o znakach rejestracyjnych SP-AMG.”

The company also described the Learjet 60XR as a model combining reliability, speed and comfort. It said the aircraft is suited to medium-range routes and offers a spacious, modern cabin for both work and relaxation.

The Learjet 60XR is a midsize business jet developed from the Learjet 55. It has a longer fuselage, stronger engines and a taller cabin, which improves passenger comfort.

The type first appeared in the United States in 2006 and entered the European market a year later. It can fly up to 4,454km and stay airborne for around 5 hours, making it suitable for non-stop trips across much of Europe.

The aircraft cruises at about 846km/h and is configured for up to 6 passengers. Its club-style seating can be converted into three resting places, and the cabin also includes a toilet and baggage space for 3 large suitcases or 4 cabin bags.

AMC Aviation’s wider fleet includes Bombardier Challenger 605 and Challenger 3500 jets, Cessna Citation Jet 3+ and Citation Excel aircraft, Dassault Falcon 7X, Embraer Phenom 100 and Praetor 600, Gulfstream G150, G280 and G500, HondaJet, three Pilatus PC-24 aircraft, a Beechcraft Premier I and Premier IA, and a King Air B350i.

The latest addition comes as European business aviation operators continue to rely on midsize jets for short and medium-haul VIP travel. AMC Aviation says SP-AMG is ready for operations.
