Sheraton Nashua to Become Gate City Casino & Hotel in Major Expansion Plan

Delaware North has unveiled plans to transform the existing Sheraton Nashua into a large-scale entertainment destination, rebranding it as Gate City Casino & Hotel in a multi-phase redevelopment project.

Located in Nashua, the property will evolve from a traditional hotel into a full-service gaming and hospitality complex, marking one of the most significant leisure developments in the region.

The project will be delivered in two phases. The first phase, scheduled for completion by late 2027, will introduce a 65,000-square-foot gaming floor. A second phase, expected in 2030, will expand the gaming space to approximately 93,000 square feet, significantly increasing the scale of the operation.

The existing hotel, which currently features more than 330 rooms, will remain a central part of the development, supporting overnight stays and extended visitor demand. New construction will add dedicated gaming areas, expanded dining options and a parking garage, repositioning the site as a regional entertainment hub.

Once completed, the facility is expected to offer around 1,000 gaming options, including slot machines, table games and poker. The food and beverage lineup will play a key role in the concept, with plans for multiple venues such as a steakhouse, sports bar and an Asian noodle bar, designed to attract both gaming visitors and local residents.
