Corinthia London Relaunches Flagship Spa with New BiomeWellbeing Concept

Corinthia London has re-launched its urban spa with the introduction of Biome, a new wellbeing concept designed to work with the body’s natural rhythms rather than against them.

The launch marks a significant evolution of the spa within the five-star, 279-key hotel and forms part of Corinthia London’s wider philosophy known as Primal Luxury. This approach seeks to blend instinct and intelligence, combining the restorative power of nature with modern scientific insight to create a more intuitive guest experience.

Described as an ecosystem of expert care, Biome has been developed around partnerships with specialist brands operating at the intersection of nature, science and human potential. Three foundational partners currently anchor the concept, with plans for additional collaborators to join over time.

Botanical skincare brand Wildsmith will deliver treatments focused on nervous system regulation and balance. Using sensorial formulations and rhythmic massage techniques, its facials and body therapies are designed to ground guests and support physical and emotional restoration.

Scientific innovation is introduced through regenerative skincare brand Augustinus Bader, which will offer personalised protocols aimed at supporting the body’s natural renewal and repair mechanisms. Treatments draw on the brand’s research into stem cell biology and wound healing, using its TFC8-technology formulations to enhance cellular communication and skin regeneration.

Performance and movement are addressed through a partnership with AMP Fit, which becomes Biome’s fitness and conditioning partner. Guests will have access to personalised fitness programmes covering movement, strength, conditioning, nutrition, recovery and accountability, alongside the brand’s signature small-group personal training sessions.

Aysun Mut, director of spa at Corinthia London, said the concept will continue to evolve. She explained that future partners, practitioners and wellbeing pillars will add further depth, with expanded programming planned across movement, recovery, longevity, nutrition and holistic lifestyle support. The aim, she said, is to create an immersive experience that feels both nature-rooted and scientifically credible, helping guests feel grounded and renewed.

Biome is now open to hotel guests, members and spa day visitors. Membership packages are available at £2,500 for three months, £4,000 for six months and £7,500 for 12 months, with pricing also offered in US dollars and euros.

The spa spans 3,300 square metres and was previously operated as an ESPA Life offering following its original launch in 2011. While the concept has evolved, the ESPA-designed thermal facilities remain central to the experience, including a swimming pool, vitality pool, amphitheatre sauna, steam room, experience showers and heated marble loungers.

With Biome, Corinthia London signals a shift towards a more integrated, philosophy-led approach to urban wellbeing, reflecting growing demand for spa experiences that balance luxury with long-term health and mindful living.
