Set in the heart of the French Alps, this new 148-room alpine retreat promises everything the Mama brand stands for – energy, warmth, and unapologetic joy – wrapped in panoramic mountain views and après-ski spirit. Developed in partnership with Vista, Financière Galata, and Cogeco, the project aims to reinvent the traditional mountain escape with a free-spirited, festive approach that’s equal parts comfort and creativity.

At Mama Shelter Val Thorens, guests can expect much more than just a place to stay. With a vast 800-square-metre panoramic terrace, a buzzing restaurant, and spaces designed for connection, it’s a high-altitude playground where skiers, families, and friends come together to celebrate the simple pleasures of life.
