Radisson Hotel Group has announced the opening of Radisson Collection The National Hotel, Brussels, a landmark retreat located directly on the prestigious The National Golf Brussels course, just 15 minutes from the city center. The property marks the Group’s second Radisson Collection hotel in Belgium, reinforcing its commitment to design-driven, sustainable hospitality in key European destinations.
Design & Comfort
Designed by acclaimed Belgian architect Olivier Dwek, the hotel blends contemporary elegance with natural textures and warm finishes, creating a serene connection with its green surroundings. The property features 150 rooms, including 30 suites and 12 junior suites, many with private terraces overlooking the rolling landscape and championship golf course.
Dining & Lifestyle
The hotel’s signature restaurant, Stoke Grill House & Brasserie, designed by Will Erens, offers refined dining with a vibrant bar and outdoor terrace, catering to both guests and locals.
Sustainability First
A pioneering project in Belgium, the hotel is the country’s first international hotel to use geothermal heating and cooling, supported by advanced water-to-water heat pumps. This system drastically reduces CO₂ emissions while achieving high energy performance scores, setting new standards in sustainable hospitality.
Golf & Wellness
Guests have direct access to one of Belgium’s top championship golf courses, designed by Bruno Steensels, along with practice facilities and a compact 6-hole course for all levels. Through a partnership with David Lloyd Sterrebeek, guests also enjoy access to premium wellness facilities, including indoor and outdoor pools, a spa, gym, group classes, and tennis courts.
Meetings & Events
With eight state-of-the-art meeting rooms, a divisible conference hall, and a rooftop event space with panoramic views, the hotel offers a premier destination for corporate gatherings, celebrations, and retreats for up to 380 guests.
Location
Set just east of Brussels, the hotel provides seamless access to both urban energy and suburban calm. Guests can explore the Grand Place, Magritte Museum, and luxury shopping in the city, or unwind in the leafy suburb of Sterrebeek, with its proximity to the Sonian Forest and Royal Museum for Central Africa.
Leadership Perspective
“We are thrilled to open Radisson Collection The National Hotel, Brussels and offer our guests something truly exceptional,” said Duco Heijbroek, General Manager. “With direct integration into the golf course and access to world-class wellness facilities, the hotel provides a uniquely enriching stay.”
Celebrating a Homecoming
The opening coincides with Radisson Hotel Group’s 35th anniversary in Brussels, where its global headquarters have been based since 1989. As the only major international hotel group headquartered in Belgium, the company continues to play a vital role in the local economy and community.
