Ukrainian carrier SkyUp Airlines will begin operating regular flights from Warsaw and Katowice starting May 27, the airline announced.
The flights will connect Polish travelers with sunny leisure destinations in Cyprus, Bulgaria, and Greece. One-way ticket prices range from €69 to €110 and are available for purchase via the airline’s website.
In April, the airline resumed regular operations for the first time since the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, operating initial routes from Chișinău, Moldova, where the airline is currently based due to the closure of Ukrainian airspace to civil aviation.
Chișinău continues to serve as the nearest international hub for the Ukrainian market.
In 2023, SkyUp carried out 10,528 flights across 664 routes to 53 countries, a 36% increase from 2022. It transported over 1.5 million passengers, up 24% year-over-year, while maintaining a team of 1,139 employees.
The airline also operated under ACMI agreements with multiple carriers, including Tunisair, FlyOne, HiSky SRL, HiSky Europe SRL, Wizz Air Malta, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, Corendon Dutch, Tailwind Airlines, and FlyEgypt.
