LOT Polish Airlines has unveiled plans to expand its route network by introducing flights to Thessaloniki, Greece, starting June 17, 2025. The new service will operate daily from LOT’s hub in Warsaw, offering passengers increased connectivity to the Mediterranean city.
To provide maximum flexibility, the airline will offer two departure schedules from Warsaw:
- Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays: Departure at 09:40.
- Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays: Departure at 14:10.
The flight, with an estimated duration of two hours and twenty minutes, will be operated using modern aircraft equipped with LOT Business Class and LOT Economy Class options.
Notably, Thessaloniki will be served year-round, with adjustments to the frequency during the winter season. From late 2025, flights will be reduced to four weekly departures:
- Sundays and Wednesdays: Departure at 09:45.
- Mondays and Thursdays: Departure at 14:05.
Amit Ray, LOT Polish Airlines’ Head of Global Corporate and Strategic Sales, highlighted the importance of Thessaloniki in the airline’s growth strategy:
“We are pursuing a sustainable growth strategy, particularly with regard to our route network. Accordingly, we are selecting new destinations that are of great interest for leisure and/or business purposes. After resuming our flight to Athens earlier this year, we are now proud to announce the new service to Thessaloniki, a destination not to be underestimated, offering our Indian passengers even more choices when they travel across Europe.”
