Air Samarkand has successfully launched its inaugural flight from Samarkand to Jeddah, marking a significant expansion of its route network and demonstrating its commitment to serving the growing needs of its passengers.
The new service aims to facilitate religious pilgrimages to Mecca and Medina, with the airline planning to commence flights to Medina next month. The carrier’s Airbus A321neo aircraft will operate two return flights to Jeddah every Tuesday, while larger Airbus A330 aircraft will be deployed for the Medina route.
This latest development builds upon Air Samarkand’s existing network, which includes direct flights to Istanbul, Sharm El Sheikh, and Nha Trang. The airline’s focus on expanding its reach underscores its ambition to become a major player in the regional aviation market.
