Travel + Leisure Reveals 2024 World's Best Awards Winners

Travel + Leisure has announced the winners of its highly anticipated 2024 World’s Best Awards, showcasing the top travel destinations and organizations worldwide. Now in its 29th year, the 2024 survey results highlight the evolving nature of global travel, presenting emerging trends and destinations that captivate today’s travelers. The full list of award winners is available on TravelandLeisure.com and in the August issue of Travel + Leisure, hitting newsstands on July 19.

Covering 125 categories, this year’s survey includes numerous surprises and milestones. JSX has emerged as the new top domestic airline, iGA Istanbul Airport has been named Best International Airport, and Singapore Airlines has reclaimed the top spot in the Best International Airlines category. Charleston, SC, remains the top U.S. city for the 12th consecutive year.

Key highlights from the worldwide rankings include San Miguel de Allende, Udaipur, and Kyoto being named the top three Best Cities Overall, and The Oberoi Rajvilas, Jaipur being honored as the World’s Best Hotel. Domestically, Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport has been named Best Domestic Airport, Golden Isles holds the No. 1 spot for Best Island in the Continental U.S., Pendry Newport Beach is the Top City Hotel, and Mission Pacific Beach Resort is the Top Resort in the Continental U.S. Additional domestic lists recognize the top city and resort hotels in destinations such as Washington, D.C., Chicago, Las Vegas, and Miami.
