LOT Polish Airlines celebrated the inaugural flight to Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia. This new destination marks Riyadh as the second city on the Arabian Peninsula to join the national carrier’s flight network, following Dubai. Riyadh is the latest addition to LOT Polish Airlines’ expanding network in 2024, which also includes Tashkent, Athens, and Oradea.

The launch of direct flights to Riyadh highlights Saudi Arabia’s unique blend of rich cultural heritage, modern landmarks, and traditional hospitality. As part of the Vision 2030 initiative, Saudi Arabia is actively expanding its tourism sector. The introduction of an online visa program for EU, UK, and US citizens further opens the country to Western tourists, providing easier access to its numerous attractions.

LOT Polish Airlines will operate direct flights between Poland and Saudi Arabia three times a week. Departures from Warsaw Chopin Airport are scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays at 3:20 p.m., using the Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. Return flights from Riyadh will depart on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 1:25 a.m. local time. The flight duration to Riyadh is approximately 5 hours and 45 minutes, while the return journey takes about 5 hours and 30 minutes.

This new route aims to strengthen the connection between Poland and Saudi Arabia, fostering tourism and business opportunities between the two countries.
