Following the cancellations of direct flights between Kaliningrad and Antalya by Turkish airlines Southwind Airlines and Tailwind Airlines, the third flight program on this route, operated by Corendon Airlines, which was supposed to start on May 22, is also being withdrawn, the program’s customer informed the ATOR News editorial office. The problem remains the same – authorities of several EU countries are against flights over their territory.
Tour operator FUN&SUN has decided to cancel the flight program from Kaliningrad to Antalya, the company’s press service told the ATOR News editorial office. Flights to Antalya were planned to operate twice a week starting from May 22.
The decision was made for the same reasons that led to the cancellation of flights by two other Turkish carriers: several EU countries in May revoked permissions for flights with Russian tourists over their territory, and negotiations lasting about 10 days did not lead to any resolution.
