In March 2024, the Stella Di Mosca Hotel is set to open its doors in Moscow. The architectural and interior design were overseen by the Milanese firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel (ACPV), with a primary focus on the meticulous restoration of facades.
To link the structures, a unifying element was conceptualized – a welcoming inner courtyard in the style of a palazzo. Despite the cohesive concept, the project’s distinctiveness lies in the varied layout solutions. The proximity to the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory has imparted a unique aesthetic, highlighting the interplay between Russian and Italian cultures.
Stella Di Mosca Hotel ‘s first floor, a spacious lobby lounge with a bar awaits guests. Floor-to-ceiling French windows open onto the hotel’s inner courtyard, housing a garden. Adjacent is IL Ristorante, offering upscale Italian cuisine. Chef Manuel Pizu, hailing from Sardinia, brings his expertise from renowned establishments in Italy and the French Riviera. At the hotel entrance, you’ll discover the boutique chocolate shop, La Cioccolateria. Its suppliers consist of small, reputable cocoa plantations in Central America and Asia, personally chosen by the head chocolatier, Wilfried André Ovèle.
