The Lana, the inaugural property of Dorchester Collection in the Middle East, is set to open its doors on February 1st, featuring the first-ever Dior Spa in the UAE, scheduled for an April 2024 launch.
Situated on the hotel’s 29th floor and bathed in natural daylight through floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views of Dubai’s iconic landmarks, including the Burj Khalifa, Dior Spa at The Lana was meticulously designed by the renowned architecture and interior design firm Gilles & Boissier.
Spanning 4,300 square feet, the spa boasts five treatment rooms and a couple’s suite, offering a menu of signature Dior treatments enhanced by modern beauty tech solutions such as Icoone Therapy, Hydrafacial, and Iyashi Dôme technology.
Highlights of the spa’s programming include three exclusive Dior treatments developed solely for The Lana: Escale at The Lana, Dior Stone Therapy, and D-Sculpt.
Escale pays homage to the inaugural Dior Spa ‘among the clouds’ in a high-rise building. This Japanese-inspired ritual invites guests to relax on a futon on the floor, where therapists incorporate kneading, friction, percussion, and full-body stretching using deep, slow massage strokes.
Dior Stone Therapy massage aims to harmonize energy flow with strategically placed semi-precious stones on the body, along with facial micro-abrasion using sapphire crystals. The skin is simultaneously treated with a Dior Skin Light LED therapy mask.
Lastly, D-Sculpt is a body massage designed to firm and slim by combining the traditional benefits of wood, dry brushing, and toning techniques.
The spa’s offerings also include a range of facials tailored for men and a personalized program of hand and foot treatments. The Lana and Dior Spa teams will collaborate closely to craft personalized well-being escapes for guests.
Additional facilities at the fourth global Dior spa include a futon for Japanese-inspired treatments, a dedicated beauty room, and an elegant boutique showcasing Dior’s product lines.
