Turkmenistan Airlines is launching connecting flights from Moscow, Russia to Malaysia and Vietnam through Turkmenistan’s capital, as Interfax reported.
“The general agent of the Turkmenistan Airlines in Russia announced the launch of connecting flights Moscow — Ashgabat — Kuala Lumpur and Moscow — Ashgabat — Ho Chi Minh,” according to the Turkmenportal telegram channel.
Regular flights to Kuala Lumpur will be operated on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from February 15 to March 30, and then on Tuesdays and Thursdays from March 31 to October 26. Flights from Russia to Ho Chi Minh will be on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from March 5 to March 30, and then on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from March 31 to October 26.
The flights from Moscow will be operated on wide-body Boeing 777 aircraft with a two-class layout.
Turkmenistan Airlines, the flagship carrier of Turkmenistan, performs domestic and international flights, with an annual passenger traffic of about 2 million people. The airline is based at Ashgabat International Airport. Currently, the airline transports approximately 2 million passengers annually.
