Last Saturday, police detained the intoxicated CEO of Chelyabinsk International Airport, Vitaliy Kashin, at Pulkovo Airport. He was briefly held in a special facility and then released, with an administrative protocol for drunken uproar on the flight.
According to Aviatorshina, the head of the aviation company belonging to the Novaport holding, on the morning of January 6, was flying from Chelyabinsk to Pulkovo on a Rossiya airline plane while in a state of alcohol intoxication.
He created a threat to flight safety even before descent when he started behaving badly, yelling and using obscene language toward the crew.
After landing and arriving at the parking area, the CEO of Chelyabinsk Airport attempted to be the first to disembark and step onto the tarmac when the jet bridge was not yet in place. In response to flight attendants who stopped him, he not only used obscene language but threatened the crew.
