British Motor Museum to Host Vaux ALL

The British Motor Museum has a brand new show for the 2023 season with Vaux ALL, a celebration of all Vauxhall models on Saturday 13 May. Vaux ALL, sponsored by Abbeyfields Insurance, will feature classic, modern classic, retro and the latest Vauxhall, Opel, and Bedford models at the Museum, home to the Vauxhall Heritage Collection.

More than 30 club stands are confirmed for the first event, with 300+ exhibitor vehicles expected on the day. Visitors can expect to see some of the finest examples of rare, special, and fondly remembered Vauxhalls, Opels and Bedfords from every decade, including Astra, Corsa, Nova, Victor, Carlton, Calibra, Cavalier, Vectra and Insignia.

The show will mark an important anniversary for the Vauxhall Viva, which was the last solely Vauxhall designed passenger car when it ceased production in 1979. Celebrating its 60th Anniversary this year, owner’s clubs are aiming to have more than 60 examples on display at the event.

Vaux ALL is being organised by Tim Watson, a lifelong Vauxhall enthusiast and owner, and a long-standing freelance commentator of the Museum. Welcoming visitors to the show, Tim will be hosting the arena activities throughout the day.

Tim commented: “This is a really exciting show for me; I’ve presented a wide variety of events at the Museum over the last 12 years, but this is the first time I’ve organised one and it brings together two of my passions – Vauxhalls and car shows.”

“I wanted to do this with the British Motor Museum for a few years now, as it directly supports the Museum and allows enthusiasts access to the fantastic Vauxhall Heritage Collection. The entire community has been so supportive of the show, and I really can’t wait to see it all come together on Saturday 13 May.” added Tim.

Tom Caren, Show Manager at the British Motor Museum, commented, “We’re delighted to be hosting a brand-new show to celebrate the Vauxhall marque, one of the oldest established vehicle manufacturers in the UK. It wasn’t a surprise when Tim came to the Museum with the idea for Vaux ALL – given he owns four Calibras! His passion for the brand is unquestionable and I’ve not doubt this will be evident on the day when hundreds of Vauxhall, Opel and Bedford models join us.”

All Vauxhall, Opel and Bedford models are welcome to join the display areas. Simply book a vehicle exhibitor ticket for just £10, including a vehicle display pass and admission for the driver. For additional passengers, extra tickets can be bought for £10 each for adults and £7 each for children. Exhibitor tickets include access to the event, Museum and Collections Centre. Visitor showtickets cost £14.50 per adult, £9 per child, £12.50 per concession and £40 for a family.
