Aeroexpress will cancel a number of trains to and from Vnukovo airport on some weekends in March due to the repair of the railway.
According to the company, on March 11 there will be no flights departing at 6:00, 7:00, 15:00, 17:00 and 20:00 from the Kievsky railway station to the airport, as well as at 8:00, 14:00, 18:00, 21:00 and 23:00 from the airport. Some flights will have slightly adjusted departure and arrival times throughout the day.
On March 18, all Aeroexpress trains to/from the airport will be cancelled.
On March 25, trains departing at 17:00, 19:00 and 20:00 from the Kievsky railway station to the airport, as well as flights at 18:00, 19:00, 20:00 and 23:00 from the airport, will be canceled. The departure and arrival times of other flights will be adjusted.
On March 26, until 04:00 pm inclusive, there will be no flights from the Kievsky railway station to the airport, and from the airport until 03:00 pm. From 17:00, trains to Vnukovo will depart according to the standard schedule every hour, from the airport – from 16:00.
“To get to Vnukovo airport during Aeroexpress train cancellations, the company recommends that passengers take the Sokolnicheskaya or Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya metro line with a transfer to ground public transport,” the report says.
