AIDAmar Set Off from Hamburg on Her First Cruise

AIDAmar set off from Hamburg on her first cruise around the world last night at 8:00 p.m. on the dot. With a lap of honour and a spectacular turning manoeuvre in front of Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie, Captain Felix Rothe gave the guests and crew on board a very special start to the 117-day round-the-world voyage. Pure emotions and goose bumps for all globetrotters who are full of anticipation for their XXL adventure.

Guests can look forward to dream destinations such as Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Ushuaia and Chile. From here, the journey continues westwards via Tahiti, Bora Bora, Tonga, Fiji (Christmas), Vanuatu, New Caledonia and Australia to Mauritius. Guests welcome the New Year against the magical backdrop of Sydney. Via South Africa, Namibia, Tenerife, Madeira, they return to Hamburg via Lisbon, where the journey ends on 20 February 2023.
