Ryanair to Resume Flights from Germany

Ryanair announced today that it will resume more than 200 connections to/from Germany from July as part of the 2020 summer timetable. As Germany lifted the general travel warning and prepares to ramp up tourism and welcome visitors, Ryanair encourages holidaymakers to start planning their summer holidays and celebrate that Europe is now overcoming one of its most challenging times.

Following the easing of travel restrictions, the desire to travel is growing, as confirmed by the latest visit figures on our website. German holidaymakers can look forward to cheap flights including their favourite destinations such as Spain, Portugal and Italy for summer holidays or city weekend-getaways. Mallorca is of course vital part of the program. But there are also routes to Alicante or Barcelona. Italy fans can look forward to travel among others to Rome, Sicily and Sardinia. Connections to Greece will also be resumed and include e.g. Crete and Athens. Ryanair reconnects Europe with regions and cities across Germany including Berlin, which remains “destination of desire” for incoming European travellers.

Ryanair is proud to return to its airports all over Germany and looks forward to carrying millions of passengers and holidaymakers who will also help to revive the regional economy on which many thousands of jobs depend. To celebrate the lifting of travel restrictions, Ryanair has launched a seat sale with fares starting at €19.99 (one way) for travel in July and August 2020, which can be booked until Thursday June 18 at midnight, exclusively on the Ryanair.com website.

Tanja Ehrlich from Ryanair said:

“We look forward to resuming around 230 routes to and from Germany as part of our summer timetable from July 2020. We are proud to be returning to 15 regional and main airports all over Germany and look forward to bringing friends and families together and carrying millions of tourists. This will also help to boost the regional economy and protect jobs.
