On June 2, 2019, S7 Airlines, a member of the oneworld® global aviation alliance, is starting regular direct flights from Irkutsk to cities in Siberia and the Far East, including Bratsk, Krasnoyarsk, and Magadan. Tickets are already available.
“S7 Airlines is actively developing its network of interregional flights with departure from Irkutsk. In addition to the previously announced new flights to St. Petersburg and Ulan-Ude, S7 Airlines is pleased to offer direct flights to Magadan as well as short regional routes to Bratsk and Krasnoyarsk. We expect high interest on behalf of passengers who are traveling for work to these key centers of metallurgy, mechanical engineering, woodworking and gold mining. At the same time, flights will be in demand for personal travel,” notes Igor Veretennikov, commercial director of the S7 Group.
Flights to Bratsk will be operated on Thursdays and Sundays. Departure from Irkutsk airport is at 08:20, and arrival in Bratsk is at 09:40. The return flight will depart at 10:30 and arrive in Irkutsk at 11:45.
Flights to Krasnoyarsk will be operated five times a week — on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Departure from Irkutsk is at 04:50, and arrival in Krasnoyarsk is at 05:50 local time. The return flights will depart at 01:10 and land in Irkutsk at 04:00.
Flights to Bratsk and Krasnoyarsk will be operated on modern Embraer 170 aircraft, designed to carry 78 passengers in a comfortable economy class cabin.
Flights to Magadan are planned twice a week — on Thursdays and Sundays. Departure from Irkutsk airport is at 01:35, and arrival in Magadan is at 09:00 local time. The return flight departs at 10:30 and arrives in Irkutsk at 12:10. During the flight, passengers will appreciate the comfort of Airbus A320 neo liners with more spacious overhead compartments, extra leg room, and eye-pleasing LED lighting. The cabin seats are equipped with USB ports, as well as special holders for mobile devices.
Members of the S7 Priority loyalty program will be able to earn at least 500 miles for flights from Irkutsk to Bratsk, Krasnoyarsk or Magadan. Accumulated S7 Priority miles can be used for award tickets and additional services.
