For over thirty years, PONANT’s ships have been sailing all the world’s oceans and offering its guests the very best of the French way of life.
An essential part of French culture, gastronomy understandably has a special place aboard the company’s ships. Meeting the very high standards of guests, PONANT cruises are an invitation to discover fragrant flavours, carefully selected ingredients and refined dishes. On board, a brigade of talented chefs, who are driven by their passion for French culinary heritage and draw inspiration from the ports of call visited, preside over a setting worthy of the greatest tables.
PONANT & Ducasse Conseil deliver gastronomic excellence
Based on its collaboration since 2016 with Ducasse Conseil, the expert catering service of Ducasse Paris, PONANT is hoisting its culinary standards even higher thanks to a catering offering that has been redesigned for the entire fleet.
Philippe TREMEL, PONANT Corporate Chef: “It is a daily challenge to combine the requirements of on-board catering with our passion for French haute cuisine. This collaboration enables us to pursue this search for culinary excellence on board to serve our guests.”
This long-term collaboration between the two companies incorporates review, optimisation of the culinary offering and world-class training for the teams on board and is based on three principles: “Healthy. Tasty. Elegant” for exceptional culinary experiences.
Themed gastronomic cruises for privileged culinary and oenological moments
For its most epicurean guests, PONANT proposes gastronomically themed cruises every year. With ports of call in the heart of sites with a rich cultural heritage, tastings, gala dinners with careful attention paid to the wine … these cruises promise privileged culinary and oenological moments.
These themed cruises provide an opportunity to set sail alongside illustrious guests and, in particular, Michelin-starred chefs, distinguished sommeliers or specialist journalists who share their passion for the culinary art with guests through tastings, workshops and fascinating conferences.
