Fiji Airways Launches FlyWell Wellness Program On 1 June

Fiji Airways has unveiled a new wellness-focused travel programme designed to improve passenger and crew wellbeing during long-haul flights through a combination of wearable technology, recovery products and lounge-based therapies.

The new FlyWell programme, launching from 1 June 2026, will initially be available to Business Class passengers travelling on select long-haul flights between Fiji and North America.

Developed in partnership with multiple wellness providers, the initiative combines in-flight recovery products with wellness technologies installed inside the airline’s Premier Lounge at Nadi International Airport.

Programme Includes Wearable Recovery Technology

Business Class passengers will be offered access to a curated wellness menu onboard, allowing them to choose products tailored to their travel and recovery needs.

Among the products available is Firefly Recovery, a clinically validated wearable device worn on the lower leg that is designed to improve circulation, reduce fatigue and support recovery during long-haul travel.

Passengers will also be able to use Ra Optics Sunset Lenses, which were developed using circadian science to help regulate light exposure inside the aircraft cabin and support natural sleep cycles.

The airline said the glasses will be professionally cleaned by cabin crew after every use.

Mental Performance Drinks And Sleep Support

Fiji Airways is also introducing Magic Mind wellness drinks onboard in two variations.

The Sleep version is designed to support deeper in-flight rest and reduce next-day grogginess associated with jet lag, while the Original formula aims to provide calm focus and sustained energy without relying on traditional stimulants.

The airline said the products are intended to help travellers arrive feeling more rested and energised after long journeys.

Red Light Therapy Added To Airport Lounge

The FlyWell programme also extends into Fiji Airways’ Premier Lounge at Nadi International Airport, where dedicated red light therapy spaces will be introduced in partnership with Vital Red Light.

According to the airline, the therapy is designed to support cellular recovery, muscle regeneration, improved sleep and energy production.

Passengers will be able to request access to the therapy spaces through lounge staff, subject to availability.

EMF Protection Technology Installed In Lounge

Fiji Airways has also partnered with Aires to install electromagnetic field protection technology throughout the lounge, creating what the airline describes as one of the world’s first EMF-friendly airport lounge environments.

The technology is intended to help reduce exposure to electromagnetic radiation from devices such as phones, laptops and WiFi networks while supporting relaxation and mental clarity.

Airline Targets World’s Happiest Airline Ambition

Fiji Airways Managing Director and Chief Executive Paul Scurrah said the initiative reflects the airline’s broader focus on innovation and passenger care.

“We set out to create something that genuinely makes a difference to the wellbeing of our guests and crew,” Scurrah said.

The programme will initially be complimentary for Business Class guests during its first two months before selected products become available for onboard purchase during the third month.

Fiji Airways said it plans to gradually expand FlyWell with additional wellness technologies and experiences over time.
