HX Expeditions is charting a bold new course for the future of adventure travel. The company’s newly released 2027/28 brochure promises deeper exploration, greater choice, and more unforgettable journeys across some of the most remote and awe-inspiring corners of the planet.
From Antarctica’s icy frontiers to Greenland’s vast fjords and Norway’s snow-draped coast, the new lineup invites travellers – and the travel agents who inspire them – to experience the next great chapter in expedition cruising.
Antarctica: Pushing the Boundaries of Exploration
The White Continent remains at the heart of HX’s offering, but the 2027/28 season takes it even further. Travellers can choose from the classic 12-day Highlights of Antarctica voyage or go beyond with the Antarctica & Patagonia expedition, sailing from the frozen south to the wild landscapes of South America. A new 16-day Antarctica & Falkland Expedition combines close-up wildlife encounters with dramatic scenery, while optional adventures like kayaking and camping on the ice offer a true taste of the extraordinary.
Greenland, Svalbard & the Northwest Passage: The Ultimate Arctic Trilogy
HX is also expanding its presence across the Arctic. Greenland will feature shorter voyages, new departure points, and more flexible routes, while Svalbard expeditions aboard MS Fram and MS Spitsbergen retrace the paths of historic polar explorers. The company will once again sail the full Northwest Passage, offering deeper cultural engagement through community-led experiences developed in collaboration with Inuit hosts.
Beyond the Poles: Norway, Iceland, Alaska and More
Beyond the polar regions, HX introduces a new 8-day Arctic Norway voyage perfectly timed to ring in the New Year under the Northern Lights. Popular destinations like Iceland and Alaska return with refined routes and immersive experiences designed to capture the essence of true discovery.
With its 2027/28 programme, HX Expeditions reaffirms its reputation as one of the world’s most innovative expedition operators — blending nature, culture, and adventure into journeys that redefine what it means to explore.
