Nammos Hotels & Resorts Unveils Luxury Resort and Residences in Montenegro

Nammos Hotels & Resorts has announced plans to launch its first luxury lifestyle destination in Montenegro through a landmark development at Smokva Bay on the Budva Riviera.

Developed in partnership with Smokva Bay, the €260 million coastal project will introduce the Nammos brand to Montenegro for the first time, combining a luxury hotel, branded residences, fine dining, wellness facilities and lifestyle experiences along the Adriatic coast.

Luxury Resort on the Adriatic

Located just 10 minutes from the iconic island of Sveti Stefan, the resort has been designed to blend with Montenegro’s dramatic coastline of rugged mountains and crystal-clear waters.

Nammos Montenegro will feature 117 accommodation units, including 47 hotel suites, 61 branded residences and nine branded villas. Inspired by Mediterranean and Cycladic architecture, the development will combine natural materials, sculpted forms and open-plan interiors designed to maximise daylight and uninterrupted sea views.

Mediterranean Dining Experiences

Dining will extend beyond the brand’s signature beachfront Nammos Restaurant. Guests will also have access to Nalu, an all-day Mediterranean restaurant, Ilios Lounge for cocktails and evening socialising, and a rooftop pool bar overlooking the Adriatic.

The culinary concepts are intended to provide a seamless transition from relaxed daytime dining to vibrant evening entertainment, reflecting the Nammos lifestyle for which the brand has become internationally recognised.

Wellness, Shopping and Outdoor Living

At the centre of the development will be Nammos Village, envisioned as a modern interpretation of a traditional Mediterranean village featuring boutique shopping, art, wellness and social spaces.

Beyond the resort, guests will be encouraged to explore Montenegro’s natural landscape through hiking and mountain biking trails, outdoor fitness activities and curated wellness experiences designed to connect visitors with the surrounding environment.

Preview Ahead of Opening

Before the full resort opens, Nammos is introducing the destination through an exclusive seasonal pop-up restaurant overlooking Sveti Stefan during the 2026 summer season. The temporary venue offers guests an early taste of the brand’s signature beachfront dining and hospitality experience.

Global Expansion Continues

The Montenegro announcement forms part of Nammos Hotels & Resorts’ international expansion strategy and comes just weeks before the scheduled opening of Nammos Resort AMAALA on Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast on 1 September.

With projects now spanning both the Adriatic and the Red Sea, Nammos continues to grow beyond its iconic beach club origins, establishing itself as a global luxury hospitality brand focused on high-end resorts, branded residences and immersive Mediterranean-inspired lifestyle destinations.
