Poznan Airport Adds Free Strollers for Travelling Families

Poznań-Ławica Airport is introducing a series of new passenger-focused improvements aimed at making travel through the terminal easier, more comfortable and less stressful.

The airport said the changes are based on passenger feedback and form part of its broader strategy to improve customer experience.

More Passenger Assistance Staff Added

One of the main changes involves increasing the number of passenger assistance agents, locally known as “helpiki”.

The staff members can be easily identified by their yellow shirts or hoodies featuring the phrase “Can I HELP you?”.

They are positioned throughout key terminal areas including check-in halls, departures and arrivals zones.

Help Staff Assist With Navigation And Check-In

The role of the assistance agents is to support passengers at different stages of their journey.

They help travelers navigate the terminal, locate baggage drop-off points and receive basic travel-related information.

The number of agents working at any given time is adjusted according to the airport’s flight schedule and passenger traffic levels.

The airport also highlighted that the multilingual support team assists both Polish and international passengers.

Free Strollers To Be Introduced For Families

Poznań Airport will also soon introduce free public-use child strollers for passengers traveling with young children.

The service is intended for parents who check their personal stroller into the aircraft hold but still require assistance moving through the terminal.

The strollers will be available free of charge year-round in a designated area immediately after security control.

Passengers will be able to use them throughout the departures area before leaving them at any boarding gate.

Strollers Designed For Young Children

The airport said the strollers are intended for children older than six months and include safety belts with a weight limit of up to 25 kilograms.

Airport Focuses On Reducing Travel Stress

Filip Nowakowski, head of terminal management at Poznań-Ławica Airport, said the airport continues listening to passenger feedback and introducing solutions designed to improve comfort and reduce travel-related stress.

He added that both the expanded passenger support service and the new stroller programme are aimed at creating a more intuitive and passenger-friendly airport environment.

Poznań Airport Highlights Modern Security Screening

The airport also noted that it offers one of Poland’s most efficient security screening processes.

Passengers are additionally allowed to carry liquids of up to two litres in a single container within hand luggage, reflecting the airport’s advanced screening technology.

The new measures represent another step in Poznań Airport’s efforts to modernise passenger services and improve the overall travel experience.
