Tewinbury Farm Hotel is set to expand its offering this summer with the launch of Farm Club, a new wellness concept combining fitness, recovery and lifestyle experiences within its 700-acre estate.
Opening on 15 June, the initiative marks a strategic move by the Hertfordshire-based property to position itself as a year-round destination for wellness tourism and experiential stays.
Outdoor Fitness And Functional Training At The Core
At the centre of the new concept is Farm Fitness, founded by Tom Kemp, bringing its outdoor, functional training approach to Tewinbury as its second location.
The 3,700 sq ft indoor and outdoor training space blends strongman-style workouts, conditioning and natural movement-based training, designed to be accessible while improving strength and endurance.
Classes will include Farm Fit, focused on functional movement and conditioning, Yard Work sessions set in the farmyard, Function strength training, and Engine cardio workouts targeting aerobic performance.
Reformer Pilates And Recovery Facilities
Alongside the fitness offering, Studio 281 will introduce its reformer Pilates concept to the site. Founded by Georgia Testa and her mother, the studio features nine reformer beds and delivers small-group sessions aimed at improving mobility, recovery and precision training.
The wellness facilities also include sauna and ice therapy experiences, with four ice baths and a wood-fired sauna designed to support recovery, reduce inflammation and enhance overall wellbeing.
Membership Model And Lifestyle Experiences
Farm Club will operate alongside a new membership programme, Farm Club Hub, offering access to dedicated spaces and curated experiences.
Members will benefit from preferential room rates and entry to The Stable, a private members’ area, as well as a programme of events including wine tastings, art tours and seasonal festivals.
Memberships are available across individual disciplines or combined packages, with prices starting from £90 per month. Hotel guests will have access to the gym, with classes offered on a pay-as-you-go basis.
Expanding Rural Hospitality Into Wellness Tourism
The launch reflects a broader trend of rural hospitality destinations diversifying into wellness and experiential travel.
Tewinbury Farm Hotel, known for its mix of historic buildings, boutique accommodation and farm-to-fork dining, is positioning Farm Club as a key part of its long-term growth strategy, targeting both leisure guests and the growing corporate retreat market.
By integrating fitness, recovery and lifestyle programming into its offering, the property aims to create a more holistic guest experience while generating new revenue streams and employment opportunities.
