Embraer and LOT Polish Airlines have announced a significant multi-year contract under Embraer’s Pool Program, marking a new chapter in their long-standing partnership. This agreement aims to bolster operational efficiency by offering comprehensive support for repairable components on LOT’s recently leased three E195-E2 aircraft.
LOT Polish Airlines, a major Embraer E-Jets operator with 47 Embraer aircraft in its fleet, will gain access to Embraer’s extensive component services network. As part of the Pool Program, Embraer provides airlines with cost-effective solutions for component repair and inventory management. This approach minimizes downtime, streamlining fleet maintenance and ensuring that LOT can continue delivering the high level of service its passengers expect.
Krzysztof Krolak, Vice President of Technical Operations at LOT Polish Airlines, emphasized the importance of this collaboration as LOT expands its fleet. “This partnership reflects our commitment to operational excellence and efficiency as we expand our fleet with the E195-E2 aircraft,” said Krolak. “Embraer’s robust support network guarantees the reliability and quality our passengers expect.”
Embraer Services & Support President and CEO, Carlos Naufel, underscored the close relationship between Embraer and LOT. “LOT was the first operator of the E-Jets in 2004, and it’s an honour to continue supporting their fleet,” he said.
The Pool Program, currently utilized by more than 60 airlines globally, offers technical expertise and services for optimized fleet maintenance and operational capabilities. This strategic partnership reaffirms LOT Polish Airlines’ commitment to fleet modernization and operational excellence, further strengthening its position in the European aviation market.
