Pulkovo St. Petersburg Airport to Welcome Passengers with Free E-Visa

Starting October 1, 2019, Pulkovo St. Petersburg Airport will serve tourists from 53 countries entering the Russian Federation with free E-Visa. St. Petersburg airport took all the necessary technical and organizational measures. The equipment of the border control facilities passed the testing.

The list of countries, the citizens of which will be permitted to enter Russia via St. Petersburg and nearby Leningrad region using electronic visas, includes: Austria, Andorra, Bahrain, Belgium, Bulgaria, China and Taiwan, Czech Republic, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Hungary, Germany, Greece, India, Indonesia, Iran, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Kuwait, Finland, France, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, North Korea, North Macedonia, Norway, Oman, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and Vatican.

Travelers heading to the cultural capital of Russia for tourist, business or humanitarian reasons can apply online for a free visa. The application can be made no later than 4 and no earlier than 20 days before the expected date of entry. Visitors will be able to stay in Russia for 8 days out of the 30-day validity period.

Application for E-Visa is available on the information portal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, starting October 1, 2019.

Foreign citizens who have obtained electronic visas have the right to stay and move only within the territory of the St. Petersburg and Leningrad region.
