Star Clippers UK has added a new 7-night cruise & stay holiday, taking in the glamour of the Mediterranean and including three nights in the Italian town of Positano followed by a four-night sailing onboard the head-turning, five-masted tall ship Royal Clipper.
The holiday starts with a three-night half-board stay at the Hotel Conc d’Or, right in the center of Positano, with sea-facing terraces and a small jacuzzi pool. The town itself has long been a haunt of celebrities, writers and artists and rises from the deep blue of the Mediterranean in a vertical riot of color.
Rail transfers from Naples to Rome continue the week with sailing from Rome Civitavecchia onboard Star Clippers’ elegant and glamorous flag-ship, Royal Clipper. After sailing from Rome, the ship calls into Corsica, making two stops at Bonifacio and Calvi, before dropping anchor in the Bay of Monaco and finally Cannes.
