From 31 March a summer schedule with the opening of new flights, resumption of seasonal routes and increase in flights frequency in a number of destinations is effective at Tolmachevo airport. Novosibirsk airport will serve more than 95 destinations during the summer season. The schedule will last until 26 October.
The frequency of flights operated from Novosibirsk on such main routes as Moscow, St. Petersburg, Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Blagoveschensk, Yuzhno Sakhalinsk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Magaudan, Yakutsk, Chita, Neryungri, Polyarny will be increased in the summer schedule of 2019. Traditionally, the frequency of flights to the South of Russia will increase in summer: to Sochi, Simferopol, Anapa.
Novokuznetsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Batumi, Bukhara, Guangzhou, Voronezh will be the new destinations of the summer schedule.
As for domestic routes, special attention should be paid to the program of regional air service development of S7 Airlines, a major partner of Tolmachevo airport. Its peculiarity is the active use of Novosibirsk airport as a hub on routes between the cities of southern Russia, Eastern Siberia, North, Yakutia and the Far East, as well as the flights operation on Embraer 170, a new aircraft type for the company. As part of this program S7 Airlines will continue further development of destinations. A 60% increase in the number of flights operated on Embraer 170 is expected in the summer schedule, compared to the one of the previous year. The increase in the number of flights is planned for such destinations as Abakan, Yekaterinburg, Tyumen, Omsk, Novy Urengoy, Nizhnevartovsk, Surgut, Chelyabinsk, Tomsk, Bratsk, Krasnoyarsk, Ulan Ude, etc. A part of flights (on 11 destinations) will be operated under the state support program for air service in accordance with the Decree of the Government dated 25.12.2013 No. 1242.
The state support program for regional air service is valid for 19 destinations – Beloyarsky, Gorno-Altaisk, Noyabrsk, Tomsk, Kargasok, Severo-Yeniseysk, Strezhevoy, Khanty-Mansyisk, Kogalym, Nadym, Kyzyl, Nizhnevartovsk, Novokuznetsk, Novy Urengoy, Perm, Surgut, Ulan Ude, Ust Kut and Ufa. The Government of the Novosibirsk region will take part in co-financing of regional flights in 2019 as well as a year earlier. Novokuznetsk destination will appear in the route network of the airport for the first time over a long period. S7 Airlines opens flights to Novokuznetsk from 15 April.
Support for air service of special categories of passengers from the cities of the Far East to air hubs of the Russian Federation will continue as part of the Decree of the RF Government dated 02.03.2018, No. 215. The support program in 2019 is valid from January 1 to December 31, 2019. An additional category of families with many children was included into the program in 2019. The list of supported destinations for Tolmachevo airport under the RF Government Decree dated 02.03.2018, No. 215 includes such cities as Yakutsk, Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Chita, Mirny, Polyarny, Magadan, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Neryungri, Blagoveschensk and Norilsk.
With the onset of summer schedule period Tolmachevo airport will continue to serve more than 19 destinations to CIS countries. Partner airline companies will operate their flights to Almaty, Nur Sultan (Astana), Shymkent, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Dushanbe, Khojend, Namangan, Karaganda, Yerevan, Fergana, Buhara (the destination is open from 20 March) and other cities. It is planned to increase the frequency of flights to Almaty, Nur Sultan (Astana), Osh, Dushanbe, Khojend, Tashkent, Ust-Kamennogorsk, Namangan, Karaganda. S7 Airlines airline company also renews its seasonal direct flight to Tamchy (Issyk Kul) and Pavlodar from 23 June.
Guangzhou will become a new destination on the international airlines of the far abroad in the summer period (opening from 21 May, 2 flights a week). Flights operation to Tokyo, Dusseldorf, Prague, Frankfurt, Shanghai, Urumqi, Larnaka will continue.
A large program of charter air service to Antalya is planned in the summer schedule. I Fly airline company will become a new carrier on the Novosibirsk-Antalya route (flights will be operated on Airbus 330 2 times a week). Nordwind airline company will also perform flights to Antalya on Airbus 330 during this season. Seasonal regular and charter flights operation to Larnaka, Heraklion and South-East Asia – Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, Sanya, Phuket, Utapao and Bangkok will continue. Charter destinations of Dalaman and Hammamet will resume.
