Accor will soon open the first Swissotel in Bucharest, Romania. When completed, the five-star brand will be atop the tallest building in Bucharest.
In fact, Niro Investment Group, one of the largest business groups in Romania experienced in real estate investment, asset development and asset management and Business Hotels Investment, has already started work on the property, which will be in the Expozitiei area in northern Bucharest.
With an estimated investment of 60 million euros, the hotel is due to be opened in 2021.
The hotel was designed by the local firm, Architect Service, and the construction will be handled by the Austrian group, Porr Construct.
Upon completion, the Swissôtel will be the tallest hotel in Bucharest and will have 225 rooms spread over 18 floors, restaurants, swimming pool, spa & fitness facilities and a dedicated area for business meetings and events corporate.
Located on Exhibition Avenue, the property is a 10-minute drive from Otopeni Airport and within close proximity to several business venues including Romexpo, the largest exhibition and event center in Romania. Tourists will enjoy the hotel’s ideal location, which is close to major attractions such as Herastrau Park and the Old Center.
