Austria’s budget carrier Laudamotion is set to launch regular flights between Vilnius and Vienna on 28 October. The tickets can be purchased starting 20 March.
The flights will be operated by the Airbus A321 aircraft three times per week. From Vilnius to Vienna on Mondays at 11:05, Wednesdays and Fridays at 22:10. Meanwhile from Vienna to Vilnius, on Mondays 8:00, Wednesdays and Fridays at 19:05. The flight duration between the two capitals – 1.5 h.
A new airline is coming to Vilnius to meet the growing needs of business and inbound and outbound tourism passengers on this route. Laudamotion is the leading Austrian budget carrier, which is named after a legendary Austrian race car driver Niki Lauda. The Vienna-based airline has a fleet of 23 aircraft.
Laudamotion will be launching another direct new route to Vienna. As of 27 October 2019, the capital of Austria will be connected to the tarmac of Brussels South Charleroi Airport.
