Edelweiss is expanding its service to Macedonia, with up to two weekly flights to Ohrid starting in April 2019.
Ohrid is situated in southwestern Macedonia on the shores of Lake Ohrid. The ancient lake is home to an extraordinary fauna, including some very rare species of fish. Ohrid is bordered by delightful beaches of all sizes and preferences, ranging from small and sophisticated to generous and lively. Considered an insider‘s tip, Ohrid was ranked in fifth place on the Lonely Planet’s 2017 “Best in Travel” list of top cities to travel to.
Edelweiss will operate a year-round flight to Ohrid, departing on Saturdays, and an additional flight in July and August, departing on Tuesdays. The flights from Zurich to Ohrid can be booked now at flyedelweiss.com or via any of the usual sales channels.
