Adria to Suspend Moscow Flights

Adria Airways will abolish direct flights to Moscow as of February 18. The link with the Russian capital is expected to be re-introduced in the summer as part of the codeshare agreement with the Russian flag carrier Aeroflot.

Adria will operate its final service between Ljubljana and Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport on February 16.

The airline has been maintaining daily flights between Ljubljana and Moscow this winter season but was hit by strong competition when Russia’s Aeroflot introduced the same service in October 2018.
