The newly opened Dubai Hills golf course earned a top 50 ranking from online golf reservation provider Golfscape. In the first-ever World’s Top 100 Golf Course list, the new golf course secured a good position. Golf maniacs while visiting to the UAE should definitely pay a visit to this golf course.
The Emaar developed 18-hole course was inaugurated last year in November and is ranked at 36 within the list of best golf courses in the world.
The golf course which has been designed by Gary Johnston, the Dubai Hills golf course is set on land and is almost equals the size of 63 football fields. The golf course is complete with winding wadis. While playing a round of golf with your friend on this beautiful course would allow one get a glimpse of the iconic Burj Khalifa.
In the UAE, the Dubai course doesn’t holds the highest rank. It is at number 15 is Abu Dhabi’s Yas Links Golf Club. The golf course has been designed by Kyle Phillips, Yas Links offers the the first true links course in the Gulf region.
According to Golfscape’s list, the best golf course in the UAE is the Majlis Course at Emirates Golf Club.
The venue for Omega Dubai Desert Classic which is held each January, the Majlis is the first grass course in the Middle East, and presents challenging holes, billowing greens, and hundreds of native species of flora and fauna.
