Eastern Airways, a franchise partner of Flybe, is increasing its Newcastle to Aberdeen service up to four flights a day, helping improve links between the north-east of England and the oil capital.
From Monday, 21 January 2019, passengers travelling to Aberdeen from Newcastle Monday to Thursday will have the choice of up to four flight times. This is also complemented by the Durham Tees Valley service, providing the north-east of England with up to seven flights a day in total to Aberdeen.
With an approximate journey time of just an hour, peak weekday flights depart Newcastle for Aberdeen at 6.45am, 11.15am, 1.45pm and 9pm. The airline continues to offer a weekend service on Sundays.
The UK airline currently operates two flights daily between Newcastle and Aberdeen.
This latest announcement follows on from the regional operator’s recently introduced new twice-daily route from Newcastle to London City, which started last week.
Fares between Newcastle and Aberdeen start from £79.99 one way, including taxes and charges, bookable at flybe.com. Regular customers can also benefit from discounted route passes offering up to 40% savings.
