The Spanish airline Volotea is adding a new destination to its route network. It will offer two weekly flights (Mondays, Fridays) from Vienna to Bordeaux, France starting on April 12, 2019. Thanks to the new flight connection, the airline is increasing its capacities on flights from Vienna by 50% in 2019.
“The new flight connection offered by Volotea is a real highlight, especially for pleasure travellers. Bordeaux is world-famous for its high-quality wines and its sophisticated French cuisine. Starting in April 2019, it is accessible from Vienna the entire year long for the very first time. Thanks to the port city’s being located directly on the Atlantic, this destination also offers a varied program of activities to sports enthusiasts. We now say, “Bonjour Bordeaux”, and are pleased with Volotea’s fourth destination served from Vienna”, says Julian Jäger, Member of the Management Board of Flughafen Wien AG.
Volotea, the airline of European mid and small-sized cities, offers direct flights at very competitive prices. Since its creation in April 2012, Volotea has carried more than 20 million passengers across Europe and 4.8 million in 2017.
