Open from November 16, 2018 through February 28, 2019, Après is a limited time pop-up experience curated by Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley. The outdoor terrace of the Hotel’s signature restaurant Quattro – a preferred location for diners during the summer months – is transformed into an intimate winter wonderland. Rustic wooden cabins take centre stage accented by sleek fire tables and lighted alpine trees. Warm shearling cushions and pashmina blankets create the ultimate opportunity to snuggle up with loved ones this holiday season.
A sight not to be missed, the nightly snowfall by way of two secretly placed snow machines sends a light dusting of flurries through the air every hour from 4:00 to 11:00 pm. A truly magical experience for both kids and kids at heart, the nightly snowfall at Après is reason enough to plan a visit.
Friday and Saturday evenings at Après feature fireside movies under the stars. For the months of November and December screenings are focused around family-friendly holiday titles. January will showcase the best of winter-themed movies and February will celebrate Oscar season with titles selected from previous Best Picture nominees.
Après-Ski Cuisine From Around the World
The menu at Après is designed for sharing and celebrates the best après-ski cuisine inspired by world famous ski destinations and Four Seasons sister properties. Highlights from the menu, with dishes starting at USD 12, include: Whistler poutine with sweet potato fries and buffalo milk cheese curds smothered with warm ox tail gravy; gruyere and Champagne fondue inspired by the French ski resort of Megève served with traditional accompaniments; and Jackson Hole bison sliders topped with torched raclette, spicy maple glazed bacon, old style mustard and shaved pickles.
Make sure to save room for dessert and try signature s’mores with house made graham crackers and vanilla bean marshmallows or the warm apple fritters with salted caramel dipping sauce. The cocktail menu created for Après features Veuve Clicquot, the world’s most famous champagne, customisable spiked hot cocoa and more warming libations.
In the spirit of giving, Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley will donate USD 2 for every order of s’mores sold at Après to Ravenswood Education Foundation. The funds raised will be used to support the foundation’s mission to ensure equitable and high-quality educational opportunities for students by building on local strengths and engaging the entire community.
