Crystal River Cruises Announces 2019 President’s Cruise

Crystal Bach will set sail on October 17, 2019 from Amsterdam on a 10-day “Enchanting Moselle” voyage hosted by Crystal’s president and CEO, Tom Wolber and his wife, Sharon. Receptions, a question & answer session and a specially arranged shoreside experience hosted by Wolber will provide opportunities for travelers to learn the latest news from Crystal while visiting the picturesque cities along Europe’s less traveled river.

Crystal BachThe “Enchanting Moselle” itinerary sails round-trip from Amsterdam and features five new ports of call through the vineyard-flanked Moselle River. Guests will enjoy world-class Rieslings and the famous vintages of the Mosel Wine Region in Bernkastel, the medieval charm of Cochem and the Roman ruins of Trier. Along with the picturesque Moselle, new destinations to explore along the Rhine River include Bonn, Beethoven’s birthplace; Dusseldorf, the cultural and fashion hub of Germany; and a returning favorite, Koblenz, offering travelers a unique perspective of the point at which the Rhine and Moselle meet; and the historic war museums of Arnhem, Netherlands. Overnights spent in Amsterdam and Trier afford ample time for longer sojourns, like a day trip to nearby Luxembourg or an in-depth exploration of Holland’s art and culinary scenes.

Crystal Bach is one of four new Crystal River Cruises’ river vessels, which are the river cruising industry’s first and only all-balcony, all-suite, all-butler vessels in Europe, with every category of accommodation positioned above the water line. All suites feature Panoramic Balcony-Windows™ and walk-in closets and dual vanity in the bathrooms are featured in most categories. Sister-ship Crystal Mozart is Europe’s most spacious river ship, at twice the width of any other, and offers an unrivalled number of social spaces, restaurants and the largest spa on the rivers.

All of Crystal’s river ships feature acclaimed butler service in every room category, king-sized beds, ETRO amenities, robes and slippers, and wall-mounted flat-screen HD TVs. Additional enticing features include farm-to-table cuisine in multiple, open-seating eateries: the elegant Waterside Restaurant, namesake Bistro cafés and the exclusive Vintage Room; and the Palm Court for entertainment, enrichment presentations and sweeping views of the countryside. The Crystal Collection of shoreside experiences offers more than 200 complimentary, curated options in every destination to suit virtually every traveler’s interests.

This sailing will be one of two “President’s Cruises” featured in 2019 for Crystal – the other is a December 1, 2019 sailing on Crystal Symphony.
