Edelweiss airline has landed its inaugural flight to Seychelles. Another direct non-stop flight from Europe is indeed good news for the islands. The call by the Minister responsible for Finance as he welcomed the airline was for Seychelles to now work with the airline to ensure a win-win for the airline and for Seychelles.
Edelweiss is scheduled to operate Mahe flights once a week on Saturdays. Edelweiss is to operate the Airbus A340-300 in Economy, Economy Flex and Business Flex class.
Edelweiss will also expand its existing services to Mauritius, offering year-round flights to this dream destination. Flights from Zurich straight to Mauritius depart on Tuesdays and Fridays.
