Transavia now offers its passengers the Baggage Check-in Service in cooperation with PostNL. It is a pilot that starts on July 25 and runs until the end of 2018. This allows passengers to pick up their luggage at home and have it checked in at Schiphol. Passenger picks up your luggage at the baggage claim in the country of destination.

Transavia 3The Baggage Service has two variants. Most convenience is the ‘Check-in service’, where luggage is picked up at home, taken to the airport and also checked in. Standard service is still offered, whereby the luggage is collected at home and delivered at the airport, where the traveler can then check in the suitcases himself.

The Check-in Service can be booked for the outward journey to Schiphol and it is also possible to have Schiphol’s baggage taken home. The service must be requested at least 3 days in advance. The service can be ordered from € 13.75 per suitcase.

At this moment the Check-in Service is only offered for outward flights from Schiphol.
