Under Sarawak’s boldest award-winning destination marketing campaign, “Redefining Global Tribes”, the state will play host to the inaugural Business Events Tribal Meet – better known as TriBE 2018 in Kuching on 24th August 2018 to drive digital transformation within the Business Events sector.
Featuring a stellar line-up of keynote speakers including Mr Corbin Ball, a five-time appointee for “25 Most Influential People in the Meetings Industry” and renowned body-language expert Mr Christian Chua, the event will also congregate 4 global authority bodies – ICCA (International Congress and Convention Association), PCMA (Professional Convention Management Association), IAPCO (International Association of Professional Congress Organisers and UIA (Union of International Associations) in a bid to traverse and spur the industry’s growth.
TriBE 2018, an initiative by the Sarawak Convention Bureau (SCB), will gather over 200 Business Events professionals, comprising of decision makers from national associations, convention ambassadors, top-tier sector partners and government officials, as well as global and national media.
The conference will also feature the launch of the all-new government associate platform, BESarawak Alliance, as well as the premier award for Business Events – the 9th Anak Sarawak Awards.
