PONANT has just published its brochure presenting its Mediterranean & Northern Europe itineraries for summer 2019. The cruise company is offering the chance to discover or rediscover a unique heritage by sea aboard its ships, which include the latest additions to its PONANT EXPLORERS series, Le Bougainville and Le Dumont -d’Urville.
Maiden season for two ships in the PONANT EXPLORERS series: Le Bougainville and Le Dumont -d’Urville
The summer 2019 season shines the spotlight on Le Bougainville and Le Dumont -d’Urville. These exceptional new-generation ships in the PONANT EXPLORERS series combine a smaller capacity (92 staterooms) and respect for
the environment (Cleanship label awarded by Bureau Veritas). Equipped with a removable marina platform
enabling guests to swim and engage in other activities directly from the ship, as well as a submersible mini -port
providing easy access to a number of nautical activities (kayaking, paddle boarding, water skiing and more), these
new stars of the fleet also boast a multi-sensory underwater lounge called Blue Eye, offering guests a new experience of the subaquatic world.
46 cruises to the Mediterranean and Northern Europe, including 5 new itineraries
From the Adriatic to the Aegean Sea, and the Atlantic coast to the Baltic Sea, Europe represents a unique travel experience. For summer 2019, 46 cruises to the Mediterranean and Northern Europe have been carefully designed by the PONANT experts, including 5 new itineraries and unique ports of call such as Gytheio, Syracuse and Brindisi.
Culture or relaxation, landmarks or exceptional natural sites… PONANT offers itineraries for discovering little –
known destinations that are inaccessible to larger ships, as well as the most beautiful sailing spots in the
Mediterranean: the Bay of Kotor, the Corinth Canal, Bonifacio and its white cliffs, or Stromboli… On board, the
French touch is evident in the elegant design, the personalised service and the fine cuisine.
