For two years in a row, IMG Show opened with a conference and a gala dinner. In 2017 there will be slight changes in the schedule. “We want to start with the business part, business meetings, so that the participants could have an opportunity to communicate in a more efficient way during the next day and other activities, to develop the contacts they made”, Ekaterina Aleksandrova, executive director of ABT-ACTE Russia gave her comments.
On the first day, partners and exhibitors will meet professional MICE service buyers at a B2B workshop in The Ritz-Carlton Moscow. IMG Show gathers hundreds of participants every year and is the largest exhibition of the industry by the number of talks held: every company will be able to hold up to 48 meetings per day in case there are two company representatives working in parallel. There will be lectures in the Buyers Lounge. The day will end with a cocktail and a lottery.
The second day will be devoted to the educational conference that will be held in The Museum of Russian Impressionism, and to the gala dinner. The topics of the educational program of IMG Show have been developed with due consideration of the comments given by the participants of sessions and seminars held by ABT-ACTE Russia during the year all over Russia. Exhibitors and professional visitors will have an opportunity to listen to experts` speeches devoted to such topics as collaboration of venues and events, charity in MICE, consumer trends, participants` cultural and linguistic peculiarities.
«MICE Dream» gala dinner in Shyolk Banquet Hall will be arranged in a fairy-tale style. “The theme of the dinner matches the general concept of the event perfectly. A fairy tale always has an intrigue, a task that is to be solved, you often have to go on a trip “over the hills and far away”, Irina Mikhalkova, Corporate Account Director of ABT-ACTE Russia says.
500 professional buyers will take part in IMG Show-2017, including 50 regional buyers participating in the «Hosted buyers» program, from such cities as Kazan, Tyumen, Voronezh, Ekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Samara, Rostov-on-Don. They will arrive in Moscow on the eve of the event and take part in a welcome seminar and a buffet in AZIMUT Hotel Olympic Moscow.
