Volotea, the airline of small and mid‐sized European cities, has started its newest operation from Southampton Airport, connecting the city to the Balearic Island of Ibiza. Flights will be operated once a week (on Thursdays) from May 25th 2017.
Dave Lees, Managing Director of Southampton Airport, said: “We are delighted that Volotea have commenced this new route to Ibiza for summer 2017 which will run alongside their existing route to Majorca. Being able to offer a range of different destinations for summer sun is one of our main priorities here at Southampton Airport. Ibiza is the perfect summer holiday destination for all with its beautiful beaches and wonderful weather so we hope to see many people taking advantage of this fantastic new route.
