Starting from May 5, 2017, Czech Railways offers Prague – Šumava direct connection. Express train František Seidel will be connected to the touristically attractive part of Šumava and the subsequent bus connection to Passau.
Direct connections to the Šumava is an extension of an express train Ex 531/532 Josef Seidel. Train leaves at 8:02 from the main station of Prague, the Czech Budejovice and arrives at 10:02 in Cesky Krumlov at 10:50. From there, the train will continue to the new New Valley as František Seidel express. Arriving in New Valley will be at 24:16.
Expresses offer comfortable cars and additional services, such as food delivery, minibar, hot beverages, cold drinks, beer and snacks. Passengers in the 1st class have the bonus service that includes a half-liter bottle of water and a daily newspaper.
