The Latvian airline airBaltic has been recognised as one of the most punctual airlines in the world and has received five stars in the OTP Star Ratings system by OAG. airBaltic achieved a punctuality rating of 90.54% for flights linking the Baltics with destinations in Europe, the Middle East, Russia and the CIS.

Considering short transfer times at our Riga home base and tough winters, this highlights our operational excellence. According to OAG’s OTP Star Ratings system, airBaltic achieved a punctuality rating of 90.54% for flights linking the Baltics with destinations in Europe, the Middle East and Russia/CIS. It means that more than 9 airBaltic aircraft out of 10 arrived on-time.
OAG tracks carrier performance based on flight records from around the world and announces its OTP Star Ratings twice a year – in April and October. In 2015 and 2014, OAG analysts ranked airBaltic as the world’s most punctual airline. airBaltic still maintains leadership positions among the world’s most punctual airlines.
As informed previously, this year, airBaltic has added Abu Dhabi (U.A.E), Geneva (Switzerland), Aberdeen (United Kingdom), Stavanger (Norway), Gothenburg (Sweden), Tampere (Finland), Catania (Italy), Madrid (Spain), Odessa (Ukraine), Kazan (Russia) and Liepaja (Latvia) to the network of cities served from Riga, and have introduced two new routes from Vilnius to Paris (France) and Munich (Germany).
