Wizz Air today announced a new route from Budapest to Astana in Kazakhstan. The newest WIZZ service will commence on 8 June and be operated two times a week, on Thursdays and Sundays. Seats on the new route can be booked on wizzair.com from just HUF 11990.
Astana, the capital city of Kazakhstan is a hub of industry, business and technology, boasting an exceptional rate of economic growth that has been attracting investors for over a decade. This year Astana will be hosting the International Exposition, with the theme of Expo 2017 being “Future Energy”. Close to 3 million people are expected to visit the international pavilions of the Expo, which will take place from June to September 2017.
Astana is already the 11th destination Wizz Air has announced to add to its ever-growing Budapest network in 2017. The airline now connects the Hungarian capital with 62 cities across Europe and beyond, which makes its Budapest offer the most diverse one in the entire WIZZ network.
WIZZ now offers 68 routes from Hungary connecting Budapest and Debrecen with 29 countries.
