Conde Nast Johansens launches its most excellent MICE Award 2011

Condé Nast Johansens is delighted to announce the inaugural Most Excellent MICE Award 2011, in association with Corinthia Hotels. The Award will be presented at the Condé Nast Johansens Annual Awards for Excellence held at The May Fair Hotel in London on 8th November 2010.This new Award will recognise hotels and venues that demonstrate excellence throughout the customer’s event experience, as well as a passion for ensuring that every event achieves the maximum possible success. The award will focus on the standard of hotels and venues and the level of service provided to MICE organisers, with the winner’s methods subsequently promoted as potential industry standards for the MICE business segment. The Condé Nast Johansens Most Excellent MICE Award in association with Corinthia will become the recognised industry benchmark.
A category winner will be chosen for each of the following; Dedicated Venues (without accommodation), Venues & Hotels (10-100 capacity), and Venues & Hotels (over 100). The overall Award winner will then be announced, chosen from the three category winners.

The judging panel for the Most Excellent MICE Award is comprised of experienced buyers, MICE specialist hoteliers, MICE industry experts and a representative of Condé Nast with vast experience in high profile media and celebrity events. The judges are Carole McKeller, Executive Director UK & Ireland, HelmsBriscoe; Alan Newton, Group Supplier Relations Manager, Grass Roots; Didier Scaillet, Chief Development Officer, MPI; Michelle Russell, Events Director for GQ and Glamour; and Shawn Pisani, Products & Services Director for Corinthia Hotels.
The overall winner will receive a holiday for two people for the duration of four nights at the Corinthia hotel of their choice, flights included. Other prizes will be provided by MPI, HelmsBriscoe, Grass Roots, Hildon Natural Mineral Water, Champagne Taittinger and L’Occitane.
